Gulab Jamun is a delicious sweet made from solid milk, maida and sugar syrup and is a popular dessert in India and other countries. Solid milk is used to make delicious sweet gulab jamuns, solid milk is made by boiling milk to get the consistency of soft dough, also known as khoya. Nowadays Gulab Jamuns are made of milk powder too instead of khoya. Gulab Jamuns are also made as stuffed Gulab Jamuns and pistachios or raisins can be used for stuffing. First a soft dough is made with milk powder or khoya with maida and semolina and a little baking soda. Small balls are then made with this dough and fry and later fried balls dipped in sugar syrup. By following this video recipe you can easily make the delicious Gulab Jamun with milk powder at your home.
