It is the most popular crispy sweet specially prepared on Dussehra, Diwali and other Indian festivals and is enjoyed individually or with milk or rabri. Jalebi batter is made with refined flour (maida) and fermented for about 14 hour or overnight. By following this recipe, lets  make the delicious jalebi at home.

    Jalebi is a popular Indian sweet that is loved by people of all ages. It is a deep-fried sweet made from a fermented batter shaped into a spiral, which is then soaked in sugar syrup. Jalebi is known for its crispy texture and delectable sweetness.

    Making jalebi starts with making batter by mixing flour and baking soda. The mixture is then left to ferment for a few hours. Once the batter is ready, it is poured into a piping bag or a squeeze bottle with a small nozzle.

    To fry Jalebi, heat oil or ghee in a pan. The batter is then poured into the oil in a circular motion, forming a spiral shape. The jalebis are fried till they become golden brown and crisp.
